Tell Me a Story | March 2014 | Kingston & Brockville, Ontario Family Photographer

Monday, 31 March 2014

March is a birthday month in our house. First comes Daddy's birthday and then five days later our oldest has her birthday.

This year she turned five. She's in kindergarten now, so that meant a party at home with all her new little school friends on the weekend before her actual birthday.

Last year was a cowgirl themed party, this year we went a little out of this world with a Spaceships and Robots party.

Stars and spaceships hung from the ceiling. It took me a little longer than I expected to get them all up there. I was just brushing my teeth and doing my hair two minutes before our first guests arrived.

A big cardboard box and some paint can go a long way. ;)

Everyone got an astronaut helmet to explore 'space' in.

Instead of cake, she opted for cupcakes this year.

If you can't tell by the look on her face, she really liked that sparkler.

Can't believe my baby turned five this year. Happy birthday!

  2. That looks like a whole lot of fun. I used to do theme parties when my kids were little and it is a whole lot of work, so congratulations you did an awesome job. I love the tin can. I also love your daughters face with the sparkler. Happy Birthday to your daughter.
