The Knapp Family | Kingston & Brockville, Ontario Family Photographer

Wednesday, 1 October 2014

Near the end of the summer I got to spend an afternoon hanging out with this wonderful family. The siblings had the great idea to give their parents a photography session as an anniversary gift. Thirty-six years into their marriage, three kids and four grandbabies and this family is filled with a whole lotta love.

This little guy had the most gorgeous dark eyes. He was so calm, just taking it all in the whole time.

Not having sisters myself (three older brothers instead), and then having two girls, sister relationships always amaze and mystify me. They love one another, then they hate one another, then they love one another again. You can see a great relationship between these two already.

Oh man, did this guy keep me on my toes! He didn't sit still for more than 30 seconds at a time, but chasing after him was definitely worth it.

Loved this one! Probably my favourite. :) And what did I saw about the little guy? Go, go, go.

I always like to bring a little something to keep the kids busy while I do shots of the adults. Plus, it gives me an opportunity to talk to them and ask them questions without them really noticing. ;)

Grandma snuggles, the best kind.

She was telling me about school and gymnastics.

What kid doesn't love the swings?

Doting on their baby cousin. He didn't seem to mind.

What better way to end the session than a ride around the yard on the lawnmower with Grandpa?!

Here's to many, many more happy times together.
