This past month has been a pretty busy one for us as we moved into our new place. Pretty much every weekend has been spent unpacking, doing minor fixing up and painting. Every weekend that is except Easter. We took a break on Easter and just enjoyed one another.
I decided to do our Tell Me a Story post this month on what our Easter was like. So here's our story. Don't forget to continue the blog circle and check out the other great posts.
The great thing about Easter this year was that it came later and meant the weather was nice enough to do part of our Easter egg hunt outside. While that meant I had to go out at 6:30 am in my robe to put the eggs out, it was worth it to see the looks on their faces.
Plus, the morning light was beautiful.
I think they enjoyed it. :)
It was time to get ready for Easter dinner which meant fancy dresses and getting their hair done. My littlest hair is finally long enough for big girl braids. I don't know if I should be happy or sad about that.
Someone had to check to make sure everything looked perfect.
Those dresses didn't last long though because Grandma surprised them with Frozen-themed tutu dresses (it was a Frozen Easter with Nana giving them the book and Mommy and Daddy getting them the movie). I give you Queen Elsa!
And, of course, we needed to wear the dresses for the rest of the weekend. I must say, they did get quite a few smiles. But I tell you, that much tulle is a bit of a pain to get in and out of car seats.
Now continue the blog circle and check out Melinda's post over at Orange Moon Photography.
I'll bet they'll be wearing those dresses all.the.time! I know my girls would, hahaha! That morning light was soooo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet. I miss those days of Easter egg hunts. They look like they had such fun. I love the photo with you daughter looking into the mirror. I love the dresses as well. I had a little tom boy and dresses were not a big thing for her. Enjoy them - they grow up way to quickly
ReplyDeleteI love Easter photos. Beautiful tutu dresses! I love the photo of your daughter dancing in the living room with the blue frozen tutu dress.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're done with all the moving crazyness! And those girls are adorable in their dresses :) but it makes me really happy that boy costumes come without tulle... :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! It looks like the girls had a fantastic Easter and my favorites are the shopping cart pictures they just tell such a fantastic story!
