“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the
two most beautiful words in the English language.”
Ok, so technically it wasn't just the afternoon, we were at the beach all day, but you get the point. For this month's post for the Tell Me a Story blog circle I'm part of with a great group of photographers, I decided to show what our day at Sand Banks Provincial Park in Picton, Ontario looked like.
It was a perfect day, the girls had never been to a beach so big, so that was a special treat for them. They couldn't wait to strip down to their bathing suits and run into the water across all that beautiful sand.

A wet hug was much appreciated during sand castle building.
Wave jumping was a pretty popular game.
She might be small, but she's mighty when she puts her mind to it.
It was a great day. By the time we left, both girls were happy, but tired. They were both asleep before we even got to the exit of the park.
