There were sparkly lights, shiny ornaments, glistening snowflakes and, of course, Thomas the Train.
There's nothing quite so heartwarming during the holidays as seeing the look of wonder on a child's face as decorations are unpacked, traditions are explained and stories of past celebrations are told.
Carla asked me to be there while they unpacked their Christmas things and decorated heir tree this year with their two little guys.
Carla has a passion for photography herself, but like many moms, she finds that while she has lots of photographs of her children and husband, she has very few with her in them. I was happy to be able to give her some with her and her boys.
Owen and Liam have their own elf - Lex (see below). Owen told me that Lex got into quite a bit of mischief last year. I'm sure this year will be no different. :)
Owen might have needed a bit of a boost for the star.
There's just so much to see!
I was delighted to be there to capture these memories of their family holidays for them to enjoy for years to come.
Two gorgeous little boys. I was lucky to spend the afternoon with them.
There's nothing better than the smile and laughter of kids.
